About Rachael Franco

Hi there!

I’m a Pacific Northwest based narrator. Originally from Reno, Nevada, I went to college at the University of Idaho for Architecture. I left with a History degree. C’est la vie. Although I did study enough architecture while I was there to add a minor onto my B.A.

While at school, I fostered my love for Art, Architectural History, Greek Mythology, and Cult/Secret Societies studies. It was also there that I first started my illustrious career as a hobby goblin.

When not narrating, you may find me researching and purchasing all requisite supplies for niche hobbies that I will then abandon for the next niche hobby. By the way, how many wood burning tools are too many for one person to own? Never mind, don’t answer that.

For several years, I sewed garments for fun, for pattern testing for indie designers, and for marketing custom fabrics. And as my stand mixer, Steve Rogers, will attest, baking holds a very special place in my life as well. I love finding fun recipes and playing with flavors. I stole the recipe for Gregg’s Scottish sausage rolls and won a county fair ribbon with them. On an unfortunate note, no matter how much I try, I cannot knit to save my life.

Now living in northwest Oregon in the Willamette Valley, my current loves are hiking mossy trails around my home, tasting local wine, traveling, exploring historic cemeteries, and writing fantasy romance novels.

I am supported in my endeavors by my husband, son, cat, and espresso machine.
